The Rise & Shine is a very unique Fuzz, Octave up Fuzz and Octave Tremolo pedal for Guitar, Bass and Synthesizer. The unique combination of all 3 effects creates a world of possibilities to create new tones for songwriters and performers a like. The fuzz itself has two voices that is like having two fuzz pedals in one unit. The responsive EQ allows you to dial in your perfect tone matched to your guitar and amplifier and the Clean mix allows you to combine your clean tone with the wet tone of the pedal. Custom beat divisions as well as standard beat divisions for your tremolo effect are as standard, as is Tap tempo and expression control of the rate of tremolo.

Absolutely inspiring pedal!!!!

I use the pedal with my Victory Kraken or the ToneX pedal. I bought it to thicken the sound. It offers endless possibilities when used with other overdrive/distortion/fuzz pedals, and I find it incredibly inspiring. Great work.

Could be better

Sounds on the whole pretty good

Lots of **** menus that will inevitably get forgotten what they mean (there a5 different modes and they’re represented by 5 different colours)

I feel like there’s a lot of unnecessary features that won’t get used and some glaringly obvious ones ****

You can’t adjust the volume of the octave up feature for example. Also the rate of the tremolo should just be on a dial like every other tremolo, there’s a tap tempo feature but only if you can remember how to activate it - and it’s not straightforward

The momentary octave up sounds a bit weak aswell but that was never my favourite feature so maybe others will like it

Thanks for your review. As you can appreciate the pedal is very compact and has lots of features, so to put 2 additional control knobs on for Octave volume and Rate would be cumbersum in such a small unit. Also there is limited space to write the text on there too. The octave volume is also dictated by your pickup strength, treble, clean mix and where you are playing on the neck like all analog octave pedals. It maybe being confused with a digital polyphonic for example which is more artificial sounding and normally cuts through more as its polyphonic. The tap rate is super easy to use, just tap in the rate as you would normally count, there is no activation process. You can also put a tap input into the expression Jack to do it on the fly or an expression pedal to rapidly control the rate.

We did alot of research on colour memory and its the reason we have the menus as different colours. Super intuitive and easy to remember if using the pedal regularly. People are exposed to colour memory in automotive, their Job and many different aspects so we thought that would be the best option than menu layers or expensive oleds as that would be abit overkill and increase the price significantly.
